What’s the difference between making love and having sex?

Let’s say a couple was doing it..girl thinks she’s making love while the guy thinks he’s having sex? Gfsdkjhgfdfghjk like..do people say making love ‘cause it sounds nice and more innocent? even though it’s not or they say it because they’re in love? But either way it’s still considered as having sex :/ so like..I’m confused -_-

Sex. Sex is the primal instinct and need that every animal has. Sex is just about pleasing yourself. As long as you two are doing it that’s sex. Making love is different. It’s about connecting on a deeper level than just sex. You aim to please each other and satisfy all of each others needs while sharing the intimacy of sex.
